Style Your Wedding with Vintage Alley

There’s something for everyone at Vintage Alley!

It was a beautiful day when I ventured down to 60 Greenway Drive, in the heart of the West End, to meet with Trish, the owner of Vintage Alley. Every time I saw one of her Instagram posts, I wanted to go and see her. Finally, I was on my way!

Trish greeted me warmly and had a lovely table set. She was the consummate hostess, pouring tea and offering delicious pastries from La Gourmandine.

We caught up on the wedding scene in Pittsburgh. She is so knowledgeable, authentic, and I was reminded again of how much I truly like her (we had met years before when she first began Vintage Alley). Her business sense, honesty, and unbridled talent are evident in everything she does.

After lots of talking and a delicious lemon tart, I asked her only one question. What can you bring to the table for a wedding? I loved her answer. She said, “We are the icing on the cake. I like to think of us as a candy store for vintage brides.”

Trish went on to say that she can create a magical place for guests and the bridal couple to take endless, wonderful photographs and selfies. I can attest to this as I have witnessed her beautiful couches, chairs, and other vintage props, arranged in a style worthy of a magazine spread.

Take a plain barn, add Trish’s embellishments, and suddenly, it comes to life. A large green lawn can be fitted with entrance doors and instantly it becomes an inviting, photographic dream.

To be honest, I came to see Trish expecting to see her array of colorful velvet couches, lined up like wedding bridesmaids, alongside groupings of props and other furniture offerings.

This was not the case. Trish has styled groupings all through her warm, cozy warehouse. Yes, prepare to be inspired! Her furniture is arranged in tempting sets for your wedding day. Do you want a bohemian look? A traditional style? She has it all and more! You will be hard pressed to pick your favorite.

  1. Hi Joanne,

Sounds like a very creative business. Also, oodles of work on her part. (lots of moving and repacking and re-adjusting). The brides and grooms she helps must be thrilled with her talent.
Glad you got to go and visit her and her treasure trove of ideas and props.
