Great Ideas From Our Wedding Couples

We say it often- we love our couples! Especially when a couple brings us on board early, we become like family. It’s often hard to say good bye to a Mr. and Mrs. on their wedding day for this very reason.

So, we’d like to honor our couples by sharing a few of their good ideas! The last time we did this, the post went nuts on Pinterest! If you love these ideas, please share!

  1. Wear something treasured from a significant family member. In this case, Alyssa wore her grandmother’s fur for her January winter wedding!

2. Incorporate family heirlooms into your wedding centerpieces. Tamara and Andrew used their own tea cup collection, and that of their families, as part of these cozy centerpieces for their brunch wedding. The paper flowers were made from an heirloom book, and even the books and doilies were their own or loaned from family! So creative!

3. Have your “first look” at an art museum! Carmen and David chose the Butler Institute of American Art and captured some amazing photography. In addition, their donation benefited a non profit organization, and that’s wonderful.

4. Have a brunch wedding! Tamara and Andrew chose to be married late morning and had a brunch for their guests. Cocktail hour was mimosas and Krispy Kreme donuts! Brunch was eggs, bacon, sausage, and a grits bar. We loved this idea!

5. Label the cookies on your cookie table! Joan and Mark had an amazing cookie table and they took the time to create a tent card for each cookie. Listed was who made the cookie and the name of it. Fabulous!

6. Create a guest signing idea that is unique to your own tastes or hobbies. Carly and Addison loved music and came up with this novel idea to have their guests sign records! The card box was a guitar case!
