On a crisp, cool November day, Carmen and David were married in a beautiful ceremony high atop the Doubletree in Youngstown, Ohio. They were surrounded by friends and family who traveled from near and far. David’s family came all the way from Scotland!

David’s son Tucker and Carmen’s mom Barbara were treasured parts of this wedding. Barbara helped Carmen in all of her planning phases. Tucker is an important part of both David and Carmen’s life and he actively participated in the wedding and especially the ceremony. Family is very important to this couple and it was evident throughout the evening.

Everywhere you looked, there were special touches. Elegant flowers from Gems Floral, Scottish candy, Jordan almonds, candle light, and a stunning cookie table were all present on this wonderful evening.Â One of the highlights was a bagpiper who escorted the couple back down the aisle after their nuptials!

The first look was at the Butler Museum of Art, just a few blocks away. The couples’ photographer, Mariah Treiber, captured the creative and the dramatic beauty at this superb location.

Rev. Catherine Daniels was the amazing officiant, Mark O’Donnell was the remarkable bagpiper, and Damon of D and R Audio was fantastic to work with. He had everyone rocking all night to his music selections.

Brandie and the staff at the Doubletree, Youngstown went above and beyond to make this day special. Their attention to detail, accommodating attitude, and spectacular cookie table designing made them a true joy to work with.
