Amber + Bob
When a couple begins their new life together, it’s something exciting. It’s also worth celebrating, especially when you have a beautiful pair like Amber and Bob.
I met Amber a few months ago when she heard that I coordinated the wedding of a friend of hers. She paid me the ultimate compliment. She said, “Everything was perfect and I didn’t know you were there.” That made my day. Amber wanted a smooth, no worry day and I was honored to oblige.
The reception was at Jay Verno Studios on the Southside of Pittsburgh. If you’ve been there you know what a magical place it is! It had been a couple of years since I visited and wow, it was even more gorgeous than I had remembered! Posh white couches, throw pillows, chandeliers, and a neutral palate for a bride and groom to make their own design upon.
Amber chose light lavender and white as her main colors. Her maid of honor wore a darker lavender. I scattered silk petals of white and light lavender over the cookie table, on the high tops, and around the lavish vases of flowers. Blossoms by Jilliann made overflowing vases of white hydrangea and baby’s breath. Little touches were everywhere- the birdcage and guest sign in book, the miniature bottles of wine favors, an amazing Pittsburgh cookie table, cake and mini cupcakes by Le Cupcake Shoppe. The guests rocked to the tunes of Jeff Michalski (DJ Maddog) who did a fine job of keeping everyone dancing.
Amber and Bob, it was an honor to be with you on your wedding day. May you have many, many years together and Bob, thank you for your service to our country.
Blessings,
Joanne
