I believe that God grants wishes and this wedding was one wish come true. Since I began my business four years ago I wanted be at The Gathering Place in Darlington, Pennsylvania. When Ashley approached me about coordinating her wedding, I was overjoyed!

It turned out that the wish to do a wedding at this venue was second to the wonderful couple that is Ashley and Brian. They are truly a match made in heaven. Their family is so caring and loving. Everyone was warm and friendly and couldn’t do enough to make this day a special one.

From our first meeting, Ashley told me she did not want to worry about anything on her wedding day. This is the main feeling of many of my brides. They plan and plan but they do not want to bother their own families on wedding day, nor do they want to worry about anything. Brian told me he did not believe that a wedding coordinator was necessary- until we had our first meeting together! After that, I think he was my biggest fan.

The Gathering Place is a wonderful venue. I cannot say enough about the landscaping (impeccable!), the staff of Medure’s Catering, the cool cabana area, and the stunning view of the lake. The pavilion is beautifully rustic, they have sidewalls for weather (which we didn’t need- again, perfect weather!), and an air conditioned bridal room.

Fred Vero did all the photography and I really enjoyed meeting him! DJ was Andy Booth who kept the evening going with amazing dance music! Gold Dust Floral did the breath taking florals and the family did one of the most amazing cookie tables I have ever seen!
